Neighbors
I'm still trying to figure out why my next-door neighbors have a rooster in their backyard.

We have ducks and will be switching to chickens -- our neighbors all have guns so they can add their vote in to our decision later.
It takes roosters to make chicks but not to make eggs -- you'd be surprised at how few people realize that.
When I tell them that human females also lay eggs every month, all I get is a disgusted look.
