Nearing the End

I have been in and out of town frequently over the last few weeks, trying to wrap up the last of the work on my father's house to get it ready for sale. I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel and all of my anxiety is switching over from concerns about prepping and fixing the house to wondering if we'll be able to find a buyer who will pay a fair price for it.

I couldn't find a good picture of my father's house before all of this started...so here's a screen capture from Google's street view which reflects the Before state of the exterior.

And here's the After:

It's hard to explain how dramatic the change has been, both inside and out.

There are still some finishing touches that need to be done and I have one last major project left in cleaning out, repairing, and painting the garage...which is a huge mess. Other than that....I am almost DONE!!

It will be nice to get my life back after this process.

If anyone wants to buy a house on the east coast of Florida for a fair price...leave a comment! ;-)

Wow! It looks like you did a great job with this house. The "Sell This House" people would be so proud.

We have been saying that for 33 years.
